Palo Alto Networks’ Security Lifecycle Review (SLR) is free security risk assessment tool that gives us visibility into applications, web traffic, known and unknown threats that currently exist in the network. From 2021 there is a new part in the SLR report, Advanced URL Filtering Analysis, which leverages new Machine Learning functionality in URL Filtering. All in all, the SLR gives us a chance to assess the company’s current cyber security position and to minimize exposure to security risks.
On the other hand, the Best Practice Assessment (BPA) free of charge tool shows the current state of best practice security adoption and suggests specific changes to align your firewall configuration with security best practices. Be aware that most of the breaches come from firewall misconfiguration.
